Features of the Faire

  • Spend a leisurely day strolling through the elegant gardens and grounds of three Barrington Hills estates.
  • Enjoy “Garden Party Vignettes” - outdoor party settings created by leading designers.
  • Gather great ideas for gardening and floral design at the Garden and Horticulture Presentations. (See schedule below.)
  • Shop for exquisite antiques, boutique items and garden accessories at the French Market featuring 20 unique merchants, including Scentimental Gardens, Midnight Sun, Griffins & Gargoyles, Replenish, and Bluebell Bazaar.
  • Discover treasures for house and garden at our own Avant Garden, an upscale flea market and perennial favorite among Faire goers.
  • Relax under a canopy of shade while enjoying a gourmet lunch catered by Prickly Pear. Later indulge in a pastry or two from Ambrosia Euro-American Patisserie.
  • See the faire highlight, Hope for Africa - a photographic journey through Africa by award-winning artist Al Buschauer of Buschauer Portraits and Framing.

Mayo Underwood, founder of Underwood Gardens and nationally acclaimed public speaker will explain how to grow gardens organically and the benefit of eating organic foods for your health and weight management

Proceeds from the Faire will be used to combat poverty, and the spread and impact of HIV/AIDS in Africa, through educational programs, economic opportunities and training for women, and services that address the needs of orphans.
